Since you probably spend thousands of dollars every year at grocery stores, you should probably have a go-to card. You'll rack up points with purchases made directly with stores having the Supermarket merchant code such as: Gristedes, Foodtown, Food Lion, Meijer, Shoprite, Stop and Shop, Vons, Whole Foods, Winn-Dixie. Purchases from smaller vendors with a matching business categories are included. Superstores such as Wal-Mart, and Warehouse clubs such as Costco are excluded. In our rankings the (+) versions have both solid category multipliers and signup bonuses. (-) versions have limitations to be aware of.
