Why You Might Want This Card
EveryDay means just that. If you make at least 30 purchases each month on your credit card, you're going to love this American Express card. It has a 50% points bonus when you use your card 30+ times per billing period. Use it at supermarkets to get 3x points and gas stations for 2x points. Throw in that monthly points bonus and watch the points add up.
Bottom Line
The welcome bonus isn't the selling point with this particular credit card... it's the bonus on everyday purchases that make it worthwhile. So, if you can't make 30+ purchases on this card monthly, it's not going to really be worth it. If you're playing the game right -- cashing in on regular new card minimum spends -- having an every day card like this makes that even tougher. But if you can meet the minimum transaction threshold and get all of your gas and groceries on it, too -- then this could be a card that stays in your wallet.
